Job summary

Marqeta is seeking a GTM Engineer to build and run systems powering our go-to-market motion. You will architect enrichment, scoring, and signal pipelines in Clay, extending them with AI tooling and integrating Apollo, Marketo, Salesforce, Demandbase, Gong, and more within our marketing stack.

You will partner across Marketing Operations, Demand Gen, Sales, and RevOps to translate GTM strategy into scalable infrastructure, delivering efficient pipeline generation and campaign execution.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a GTM Engineer, RevOps, Marketing Ops, or Growth Engineering role.
• Hands‑on experience building in Clay, including Audience builds, Clay Ads, enrichment providers, formulas, and multi-step/chained workflows.
• Practical AI fluency: experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration and evaluation loops.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce (or similar) and marketing automation platforms such as Marketo (or similar).
• Comfort with APIs, webhooks, and basic scripting or data transformation (JavaScript, Python, or JSON).
• Strong data hygiene instincts and a systems‑thinking mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Marketing Operations, Sales, Demand Gen, Analytics, and RevOps to translate GTM strategy into technical requirements.
• Design and maintain multi-step Clay tables and workflows for lead/account enrichment and scoring.
• Build agents that trigger sales/marketing actions off of signals.
• Develop GTM workflows across PPC/ad platforms using Clay as orchestration layer.
• Manage ABM motions and optimize target accounts over time.
• Monitor data quality, deliverability, and maintain documentation/version control.
• Track outbound and sequence performance to iterate on scoring and messaging.
