Job summary

Marqeta is seeking a Director of GTM Operations to establish scalable processes supporting rapid growth. You will oversee sales incentive design, tool selection (Salesforce, Gong, Loopio), and budget tracking, while driving operational rigor across the GTM org. A data-driven change agent, you will align cross-functional teams and mentor revenue ops professionals.

You will work flexibly from anywhere in the U.S. with optional in-office days in Oakland or NYC.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience managing a best-in-class Sales Operations function for FinTech/ payments.
• Strong operational mindset with scalable process design.
• Salesforce expertise and data-driven decision making.
• Experience deploying sales tools, automation, and territory management.
• Understanding comp plan structures (quotas, accelerators, OTE).
• Leadership of a revenue operations team and strategic guidance.

Responsibilities

• Establish scalable operational cadence and cross-functional alignment across GTM.
• Lead AI transformation for RevOps workflows and implement tools in Salesforce.
• Oversee incentive compensation design and communicate changes to leaders.
• Manage opex and headcount budgeting; drive annual planning with leadership.
• Consolidate systems, improve data quality, and reduce friction.
• Coach and mentor a revenue operations team to high performance.
