Job summary

Avoca is hiring a GTM Engineer to build the data, systems, and growth infrastructure behind its next growth phase. You will shape the outbound engine, enrich target markets, and design AI-powered workflows that scale to thousands of accounts with strong deliverability and measurable impact on revenue.

You’ll report to the Head of Growth and collaborate with Sales, RevOps, and SDRs to turn signals into pipeline.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in GTM engineering, growth ops, outbound, or another technical GTM role in a B2B environment.
• Track record of building and operating large-scale outbound email programs that generated qualified pipeline.
• Deep knowledge of outbound infrastructure and deliverability, including domain and inbox provisioning, authentication, warm-up, rotation, bounce management, and sender reputation.
• Expertise building AI-powered workflows for research, segmentation, personalization or campaign execution.
• Hands-on experience building sophisticated workflows in tools such as Clay, Claude Code, n8n, Make, Zapier, Smartlead, or similar platforms.
• Strong foundations with APIs, webhooks, data integrations, and conditional logic; knowledge of SQL, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience building, enriching, and maintaining large account and contact datasets using multiple data providers and enrichment waterfalls.
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to turn data into repeatable growth systems that create pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Build, run, and scale our autonomous outbound email engine end-to-end: strategy, execution, sending infra, deliverability, measurement, and optimization.
• Build and ship AI agents and GTM workflows for prospect research, account prioritization, personalization and content development.
• Map and enrich Avoca’s total addressable market and build reliable account/contact data for campaigns and SDR motion.
• Identify, test, and activate buying signals to surface right accounts and trigger outreach or rep actions.
• Create integrations, automations, and tools that connect data sources, CRM, enrichment, outbound platforms, and Sales workflows.
• Partner with SDRs, Sales, and RevOps to improve targeting and pipeline conversion.
• Evaluate GTM tech stack and decide what to buy, build or automate.
