Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Product Forward Deployed Engineer (pFDE) within the Converge for FSI team to drive GTM and delivery for Signals. You will balance pre-sale activities with hands-on delivery oversight, shaping product opportunities and closing deals with executive stakeholders.

The role blends startup spirit with enterprise strength, requiring collaboration with product, engineering, and market makers to deliver POCs, define licensing, and ensure client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of client-facing management or technology consulting / professional services experience.
• 2+ years of experience within, or delivering consulting/technology engagements to, the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated experience working alongside engineering, data science, or technical delivery teams to scope, sequence, and troubleshoot data/technology implementations.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sale: Build relationships with market makers and client teams; deliver pitches and demos to executives; develop go-to-market materials; scope, price, and staff delivery engagements; enable product commercialization with license agreements.
• Post-Sale: Lead delivery of proofs of concept and in-market testing; manage client relationships and project timelines; translate client requirements to product backlog; develop reusable delivery assets; provide feedback between clients and product team; ensure clean handoffs at end of deployment.
• Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Market Research, Data Science or equivalent; MBA a plus.
• 3+ years of client-facing management or technology consulting / professional services experience; 2+ years in financial services consulting/delivery.
• Travel 20-40% is typical for this role.
