Job summary

Snowflake seeks an Staff Data Scientist, GTM to lead a portfolio of AI & ML decision systems for Sales and Marketing. You will design, productionize, and embed predictive models and recommendations into GTM workflows, partnering with RevOps and business leaders to drive measurable impact.

You will guide experimentation, causal measurement, and uplift modeling while mentoring other scientists and raising technical standards across the GTM Data Science teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, OR Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, CS or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years building production-grade statistical or ML systems with meaningful business impact.
• Experience setting technical direction across ambiguous, cross-functional problem spaces.
• Expertise in causal inference, experimentation, forecasting, propensity modeling, uplift modeling, ranking or recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for a portfolio of AI & ML GTM decision systems across Sales and Marketing.
• Develop forecasting methods modeling stage progression, conversion, and deal timing.
• Build models for accounts, leads, opportunities, and customers to identify propensity, risk, and likely outcomes.
• Develop next-best-action systems to guide GTM teams on where and when to act.
• Apply causal inference and uplift modeling to measure campaign and sales impact.
• Define training, backtesting, calibration, ranking, treatment-effect evaluation, and impact standards.
• Collaborate with GTM leaders to embed outputs into recurring workflows.
• Distinguish genuine market movements from CRM changes and model artifacts.
• Mentor scientists and raise technical standards across GTM Data Science.
