Collins Aerospace in Wilson, NC is seeking an onsite Welder for 2nd shift to set up and perform GTAW welding on thin-gauge materials. You will inspect welds, adhere to AWS standards, and assist in training other welders while following safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 1+ year GTAW welding experience.
• 1+ years GTAW welding experience and welding fabrication experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding equipment per drawings and WPS ranges.
• Perform GTAW welding on thin-gauge materials and diverse alloys.
• Inspect welds and repair as needed using standard QC tools and NDT concepts.
• Follow safety, EHS, and compliance guidelines; assist in training others.
