Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor in Boise, ID. The role oversees GSOC personnel, systems, and procedures to ensure timely responses to alarms and incidents, while coordinating with Contract Security and Global Security Management.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in security operations, strong supervisory experience, and solid computer skills. This on-site leadership position includes monitoring, training, reporting, and after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of working in a Security Operations Center or closely related operation.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ability to learn multiple software programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the GSOC, Contract Security Management, and Global Security Management.
• Develop and direct GSOC functions, processes, and operations to align with client goals.
• Perform analysis, planning, and provide direction to ensure GSOC value.
• Develop and deliver training exercises for GSOC personnel.
• Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from employees and vendors.
• Motivate, coach, and lead GSOC staff.
• Manage software programs supporting operational processes.
• Provide feedback to mitigate failures and improve performance.
• Escalate inter-company customer service issues as needed.
• Perform on-call duties, including after-hours and weekends.
• Develop intelligence sources to identify potential threats.
• Monitor KPIs and drive efficiency/quality improvements.
• Ensure staffing and conduct performance appraisals.
• Create security presentations and reports.
