Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Global Security Operations Center Supervisor to lead day-to-day GSOC shifts and supervise up to ten operators. The role ensures staffing with qualified personnel and adherence to policies under the direction of the Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a BA or equivalent, at least four years of security experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• College Degree (BA) or equivalent work experience in operations or dispatch.
• At least four years of security experience.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• Excellent instructional, customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in conducting research/analysis.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, sometimes stressed work environment.
• Comfortable with high-tech work environment and continuous learning of new tools.
• Flexibility to work all shifts and overtime when needed.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Windows OS.
• Dependable team player with business maturity and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receiving shift pass down information and conducting shift briefings.
• Maintain situational awareness of events affecting safety and operations globally.
• Draft and send emergency mass notifications and crisis communications.
• Ensure field personnel respond to emergencies (medical, fire, hazmat, disasters).
• Assist in developing and revising GSOC processes, protocols, and systems.
• Identify and route security for resolution of alarms.
• Provide back-up, support, and on-call function as needed.
• Oversee quality control for production, support, and staffing with GSOC Ops Manager.
• Develop and mature GSOC capabilities including intelligence/analytics support.
• Supervise GSOC knowledge management (e.g., SharePoint) and training for operators.
