Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor in the Brookfield, WI area. The role leads day-to-day GSOC activities, supervising up to ten Lead Operators and Operators, ensuring staffing alignment with policy, and reporting to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• College Degree (BA) or equivalent work experience in an operations center or dispatch capacity
• At least four years of experience in security
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws
• Excellent instructional, customer service, written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in conducting research/analysis
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, high-stress environment
• Comfortable with high-tech environment and new tools
• Flexibility to work all shifts and overtime as needed
• Good working knowledge of security systems for access control, CCTV, badging, alarm monitoring
• Self-motivated, team player with positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Receive shift pass down information and conduct shift briefings with updates and training
• Maintain situational awareness of events affecting safety and operations across client locations globally
• Draft and send emergency mass notifications and crisis communications
• Ensure field personnel respond to emergencies and incidents
• Assist in developing GSOC processes, protocols, and systems
• Oversee alarms and nuisance/physical security event routing
• Provide back-up, on-call support as needed
• Oversee quality control for production, support, staffing with GSOC Ops Manager
• Support GSOC maturity including analytics
• Maintain GSOC knowledge dashboard and collaboration tools
• Collaborate with Operations Manager on process improvements
• Represent GSOC in client meetings
• Triage workplace incidents and coordinate training for operators
