Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor in Boise, ID. The supervisor will oversee GSOC personnel, systems, and procedures to ensure timely response to alarms and incidents.

This role requires leadership, strong communication, and a solid security operations background. Responsibilities include directing GSOC functions, coordinating with management and clients, developing training, evaluating technologies, and ensuring effective incident response.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of working in a Security Operations Center or closely related operation.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, delegate tasks, and communicate to varied audiences.
• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to ensure compliance, monitoring of assets, and rapid notifications.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between the GSOC, Contract Security Management, and Global Security Management.
• Develop and direct the functions, processes, and operations of the GSOC and align with client goals.
• Perform analysis and provide direction to maximize GSOC value.
• Develop and document training exercises for GSOC personnel.
• Identify new technologies and upgrades for existing systems.
• Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from various sources.
• Motivate, coach, and provide leadership to GSOC staff.
• Manage software programs supporting operational processes.
• Provide feedback to client and contract security management to improve performance.
• Escalate inter-company customer service issues related to GSOC operations.
• Perform on-call duty after-hours, weekends, holidays.
• Develop intelligence sources to identify threats.
• Monitor KPIs and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Perform supervisory/managerial responsibilities.
• Ensure staffing levels and conduct appraisals.
• Create and deliver security presentations and reports.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
