Job summary

Riot Platforms Inc. in Corsicana, Texas seeks an GSOC Assistant Supervisor to provide operational leadership within the Global Security Operations Center, safeguarding personnel, assets, and operations.

The role reports to the GSOC Supervisor and requires on-site work 2:00 PM–10:00 PM with 24/7/365 coverage. You will monitor security systems, mentor operators, manage scheduling, and support incident response.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience required.
• Two (2) years of experience in public emergency services, private security, IT or related field preferred.
• Military experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Experience with mass communication systems, access control, CCTV and related security tech preferred.
• Ability to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership to Security Operations Center Operators.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to improve operator skills.
• Ensure accountability and punctuality of operators.
• Manage scheduling for team members.
• May perform duties of a superior in absence.
• Participate in new hire orientation and onboarding.
• Participate in daily briefings and provide input.
• Provide security monitoring and incident response for events.
• Monitor SIEM alerts to identify security issues and support remediation.
• Investigate and report information security incidents and trends.
• Handle emergencies and prioritize incidents.
• Classify calls and determine priority and response.
• Generate alarm reports and maintain records.
• Assist emergency units with information verification.
• Operate two-way radios and dispatch systems.
• Track team OKRs and KPIs and complete end-of-month reporting.
• Identify process improvements for SOC performance.
• Perform other related duties as required.
