Job summary

Smith is seeking a GSOC Lead Operator to provide frontline leadership within our 24x7x365 Global Security Operations Center. The shift will be Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat from 1pm to 11pm.

You will oversee operators, monitor CCTV and alarms, direct incident triage, and coordinate with IT/security partners for timely reporting and crisis response. The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of GSOC/security operations experience, prior supervisory exposure, and strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in a GSOC, SOC, or security operations environment.
• Lead or supervisory experience, formal or informal.
• Strong incident management and escalation knowledge.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as shift lead for GSOC operations, overseeing operators and daily activities.
• Monitor and support physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) across global locations.
• Review, prioritize, and direct incident triage and escalation.
• Act as primary decision-maker during shifts for critical incidents and escalations.
• Coordinate cyber incident intake with IT/security partners and ensure timely reporting.
