Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (GSOC) Shift Lead to support the Global Security Operations Center for a high-profile client. The role executes core GSOC functions, including incident recognition/escalation, emergency response, product security, and physical security.

Pay rate is $23.00 per hour with a Friday–Tuesday schedule and a 9PM–5AM shift. Ideal candidates have security experience, an Arizona guard card, and strong communication and training capabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• Minimum of two years of technical writing experience.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable security experience.
• Minimum of two years of Global Security Operations Center experience.
• Experience using CCURE and other surveillance tools (e.g., Genetec).
• Military or police background is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Emergency Management, Communications, IT, Political Sciences, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day GSOC operations and ensure procedures are followed.
• Coordinate activities of the GSOC team during shifts and monitor security systems.
• Update GSOC Operator schedules and ensure coverage for openings and callouts.
• Ensure activities comply with laws, client regulations, and policies.
• Conduct audits to identify improvements and training needs for operators.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for GSOC operations.
• Monitor security systems and intelligence feeds; ensure compliant analysis.
• Complete metrics to ensure operators meet client standards.
• Act as the incident response lead and coordinate with stakeholders.
