Job summary

Allied Universal® in California is seeking a GSOC Operator to monitor and protect client sites across various industries. Working in a GSOC environment, you will analyze incidents, coordinate responses, and use access control and alarm monitoring systems along with open-source data.

This full-time role offers a $30.00 per hour pay rate, a daytime/night schedule, and opportunities for training, career growth, and benefits as part of a dynamic, safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• A minimum age of 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Criminal history considered as allowed by law.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while enforcing safety and security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Investigate alarms and coordinate security responses with patrols, Fire services, or Police as needed.
• Support company personnel on safety and security concerns.
• Monitor travel safety and security of employees.
