Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a GSOC Operator in San Jose, CA, for a full-time overnight role (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday). You will monitor multiple screens, use access control and alarm systems, and assist clients across industries to ensure safety and security.

The position requires 5+ years of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a background check; a driver’s license is needed for driving positions. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or five years of verifiable experience.
• Minimum of two years of military, law enforcement, government, or security experience.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local; driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and solving problems.
• Investigate alarms and coordinate with security patrols or Fire/Police as needed.
• Assist employees with safety and security concerns.
• Monitor travel safety and security of company personnel.
