Elevance Health is seeking a Global Security Operations Center Analyst to analyze and escalate security threats, coordinate incident responses, and lead GSOC activities during assigned shifts. The role mentors junior operators and helps improve SOPs and playbooks.

The position involves shift work (2nd shift noted) and may require weekend or holiday coverage. Strong communication and GSOC tool proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in a GSOC, command center, or security operations.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in shift operations is preferred.
• Proficiency with GSOC technologies and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as shift lead, managing GSOC operations and tasks.
• Draft and deliver crisis communications to associates.
• Conduct preliminary threat analysis using multiple intelligence sources.
• Prepare incident reports and situation summaries.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners (security, HR, legal, facilities).
• Support investigations with video review, access control audits, and documentation.
• Mentor and train entry-level GSOC operators and analysts.
• Assist in updating and improving SOPs and playbooks.
• Role may require 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift and weekend/holiday work.
