Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a dedicated GSOC Analyst to join a 24/7/365 security operations center. The role involves monitoring security systems, coordinating responses, and documenting incidents to safeguard personnel and assets.

The position covers 24/7 night shifts on a 4x12 schedule (4 days on, 4 days off). A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, with 0-2 years of GSOC experience in tech. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a GSOC, Security Operations, or similar role in the technology sector
• Bachelor’s degree in History, Political Science, Criminal Justice or related areas preferred.
• Working knowledge of security systems, incident response protocols, and emergency management.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial point of contact for global security communications, managing responses to security alerts and incidents.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems to detect and respond to threats.
• Conduct real-time incident assessments and coordinate appropriate responses with internal and external stakeholders.
• Document all incidents with actions taken and outcomes for future reference.
• Support execution of security protocols and procedures as directed by leadership.
• Assist in developing security reports and intelligence products for decision making.
• Provide travel security tracking for personnel and assist in crisis management.
• Engage in regular training on security trends, technologies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security processes and incident response.
