Trace Systems Inc. in Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, seeks a Government Security Operations Center Communications Systems Operator to provide continuous operational communications support for Executive Aircraft.

You will monitor missions, coordinate real-time troubleshooting with airborne operators and technical teams, and document incidents, handoffs, and mission status for 24/7/365 operations. The role requires active Top Secret clearance, DoD 8140 qualifications, and the ability to work shifts

Formación

• Active, in-scope US Government Top Secret clearance (minimum).
• US Citizenship required due to contract requirements.
• DoD 8140 Work Role: 411 Technical Support Specialist, Intermediate proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, IT, Software Engineering, or related military training.

Responsabilidades

• Track and assist Executive Aircraft in flight when communications issues occur.
• Respond to incident calls and support communications trend analysis.
• Use Command and Control tools and Mattermost to support aircraft in flight.
• Support operation of Mission Communications Systems aboard C-32, C-40, C-37 aircraft.
• Provide troubleshooting guidance during MCS anomalies and outages.
• Monitor web-based flight-monitoring tools from SATCOM providers.
• Maintain shift logs, incident records, and technical documentation.
• Escalate unresolved issues to GSOC leadership and engineering teams.
