Job summary

MIRACORP in Midland, Texas, seeks a Contract Facility Manager (CFM) to support GSA Public Buildings Service by overseeing daily operations, inspections, and project activities across facilities. You will ensure compliance with property management standards and serve as on-site representative for building performance, safety, and tenant relations.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive experience in construction project management or property management.
• Knowledge of architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, and control systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, business, real estate, or related field, and/or ten years of relevant management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and ability to coordinate with contractors and agencies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain HSPD-12 clearance and government smart card.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and manage facilities to ensure compliance with GSA standards and lease terms.
• Conduct inspections, document findings, and verify corrective actions.
• Support construction and repair projects from scope to closeout.
• Serve as on-site GSA representative during construction, coordinating with contractors and tenants.
• Prepare inspection reports, maintain documentation, and assist budgeting as directed by the COR.
• Manage tenant relationships and contribute to space modification initiatives.
• Monitor operating costs and asset conditions for long-term preservation.
