Job summary

Mars Petcare in Franklin, TN seeks a Sales Planning Manager for the Wet Dog brand. You will lead end-to-end planning, drive growth, profitability, and multi-year strategy through close collaboration with marketing, customer teams, and cross-functional partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in sales/analytics within CPG. You will translate complex data into actionable insights and guide in-store execution with internal stakeholders and retailers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of sales/category/analytics/marketing experience in the CPG industry.
• Ability to build collaborative partnerships with retail customers, account teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to understand and distill complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the critical link between Customer/Brand and Field Sales, relaying feedback to stakeholders.
• Partner with Brand Marketing to identify and drive share growth opportunities and strategies.
• Coordinate with merchandising to develop in-store displays, field materials and selling tools.
• Lead internal planning processes and update key stakeholders with progress.
• Lead weekly and deep-dive meetings to address strategic and tactical account needs and annual planning milestones.
• Customize category toolkit to support shopper dynamics and growth opportunities.
• Develop compelling brand and new item selling stories that tie into category objectives.
• Provide field perspective on innovation/renovation projects from gate to implementation.
• Attend portfolio/brand presentations with strategic accounts and lead joint business plans.
