Job summary

Cloudflare seeks an entrepreneurial Sales Director to lead the DN/AI Growth Segment, focusing on acquisition and expansion of fast-growing Startup accounts. You will scale a high-performing team to bring AI companies onto Cloudflare’s platform, with a founder mindset and VC ecosystem familiarity to capture startups at inception.

You will excel in PLG sales motions and position Cloudflare as the infrastructure layer for modern workloads, coordinating with product and growth teams to convert

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience.
• Experience leading sales teams.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure and SaaS.
• Experience with developer platforms and PLG motions.
• Deep connections in startup and VC ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Own and exceed quarterly revenue targets for AI startup ecosystem.
• Recruit, coach, and develop a world-class sales team.
• Articulate Cloudflare’s value across connectivity cloud (Workers AI, R2, security).
• Partner with Product, Growth, and Marketing to convert self-serve usage into enterprise deals.
• Act as executive sponsor for high-growth startups and VC partners.
