Energy Transfer is seeking a cost controls analyst to work with Engineering Project Managers to provide cost controls support on projects in Houston. You will analyze scope changes, contract values, and design unknowns, prepare monthly forecasts, and help manage invoices, POs, and project documentation.

Strong Excel and financial software skills, clear communication, and the ability to challenge assumptions are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, construction management or business, or equivalent experience.
Strong MS Office experience, especially Excel.
Proficient with financial software packages and analytics.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and judgment.

Responsabilités

Advanced skills of a cost analyst; ability to provide cost controls support on projects.
Evaluate and communicate cost impact of scope changes, contract values, and cost trends.
Assist in coding and tracking invoices, retainage, and verify rates per contract.
Provide updated project forecasts monthly and quarterly accruals.
Track purchase orders, contracts, and project documentation; manage re-classes as needed.
Respond to ad-hoc requests and support project management as required.
