Job summary

G-TECH Services LLC seeks an experienced Project Cost Manager / Project Controls professional to support cost management for large-scale capital projects in the Houston area. You will forecast costs, prepare budgets, manage accruals, and produce cost performance analyses to keep projects on track.

The role collaborates with Project Managers, Engineers, Construction Managers, and other stakeholders to identify financial risks, analyze variances, and drive cost-efficient project execution across

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in project cost management, project controls, or related discipline.
• Experience forecasting, budgeting, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Ability to prepare monthly cost reports and present updates to teams/leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project cost baselines by integrating estimates, hours, and schedules.
• Develop and maintain cost forecasts to estimate total costs and remaining expenditures.
• Gather and analyze cost data across disciplines and teams.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, accruals, cash flow forecasts, and analyses.
• Monitor expenditures, commitments, and remaining budgets.
• Analyze variances and communicate impacts to leadership.
• Track change orders and cost adjustments for accurate reporting.
• Evaluate financial impact of scope changes and potential cancellations.
• Develop contingency analyses to support performance metrics and closure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop realistic forecasts and corrective actions.
