Job summary

Target is seeking an entry‑level Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 (MT1) at our Hialeah, FL facility. You will maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment, performing preventive maintenance and quick repairs to keep the supply chain running smoothly.

You'll work with experienced technicians, follow safety procedures, read simple electrical schematics, and use handheld devices to log work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading basic electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Experience with work order management and preventive maintenance.
• Familiar with industrial tools and basic blueprint reading.
• Comfortable in a temperature-controlled environment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot MHE on site including conveyors and sorters.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and basic electrical tasks.
• Read schematics, adjust components, and replace worn parts as needed.
• Log labor hours, downtime, causes, remedies, and parts used in work orders.
• Follow PPE and safety protocols and work with teams across the site.
