Job summary

Target's Hampton, GA facility is seeking an entry-level Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 to support automated material handling and facility equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot MHE systems, read electrical schematics, and collaborate with other technicians to maintain high equipment availability. The role offers growth toward Maintenance Technician 2 with demonstrated proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic wiring diagrams and electrical measuring tools knowledge.
• Experience with MHE and automated conveyors is preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and use handheld devices for work orders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of material handling equipment on site.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment such as HVAC, compressors, and balers.
• Read and understand basic electrical schematics and troubleshoot circuits.
• Close work orders with labor hours, downtime, cause, remedy, and parts used.
