Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 (MT1) to maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment in a Target supply chain facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and help ensure high equipment availability.

This entry-level role offers growth to Maintenance Technician 2 with demonstrated proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance is preferred.
• Familiar with reading electrical schematics and using basic measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment to ensure high availability.
• Perform preventive maintenance on MHE, HVAC, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, restore service quickly, and validate work.
• Read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics; assist with Root Cause Analysis.
