Job summary

The GroundTruth Project, Inc. — Report Local is seeking a Director of Growth and Strategic Partnerships to drive new funding by identifying and cultivating major funders, including foundations and corporations, with an emphasis on geographic expansion and thematic initiatives.

You will work with leadership to translate strategy into compelling investment opportunities and build a strong, funded pipeline. As a fully remote, national team, you will collaborate with the Chief Development Officer,

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in business development, partnerships, or external relations.
• Proven ability to identify, cultivate, and close revenue-generating partnerships.
• Entrepreneurial and strategic, with strong opportunity spotting instincts.
• Strong collaboration across leadership, program, and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective funders and strategic partners.
• Identify prospects aligned with strategic priorities and open doors to relationships.
• Lead meetings with CDO/CEO and program leaders at key milestones.
• Develop funder-focused concepts, cases for support, and pitch materials.
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline with milestones and revenue projections.
