• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processing freight.
• Assisting with the taking price changes/markdowns.
• Balancing the register according to company policy.
• Calling out prices for customers during ringing transactions.
• Bagging merchandise efficiently at checkout.
• Handling cash, checks and credit card transactions per policy.
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks.
• Maintaining housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Providing proper customer service, greeting and thanking customers, inviting repeat visits.
• Following all safety procedures.
• Maintaining a professional neat appearance with a name tag.
• Assisting management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Assisting with tasks per company policy.
• Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Supporting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures.
