AEG Vision is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and top-notch patient care. You will assist patients with frame and lens selections, ensure accurate measurements, and dispense lenses while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient and explains customized recommendations.
• Builds rapport by asking lifestyle questions to identify visual needs and recommends frames and lenses.
• Keeps up-to-date on products, rebates, and lens/frame options.
• Enter prescription information into the EHR/ALE system and manage order status and issues.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lens types, and coatings to fit needs.
• Educate patients on eyeglass care, warranty, and insurance coverage.
• Interpret prescriptions and verify eligibility and benefits with insurance.
• Coordinate with technicians and managers to track orders and status.
