Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a Tokio Marine group member, seeks an Underwriter to support Management and Professional Lines across D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, Cyber and related products. This role emphasizes strong broker partnerships and building a profitable book of business in Seattle and other eligible locations.

You will analyze financial statements, market risk, and terms, price risks within authority, prepare submissions, and collaborate with underwriting, claims and risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1 year of underwriting experience preferred.
• Experience supporting or managing agency relationships and a profitable book of business is preferred.
• Professional designations such as RPLU, CPCU, ARM, or AU are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a profitable book of business across Management Liability products.
• Develop agency relationships and drive profitable growth.
• Analyze financial statements, loss exposures, and risk characteristics to underwrite.
• Prepare submissions and pricing within authority.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
• Deliver exceptional service to agents and insureds.
