Philadelphia Insurance Companies, part of the Tokio Marine Group, seeks a Senior Underwriter to lead underwriting and marketing for Management and Professional Liability products. You will develop broker relationships, analyze complex risk, price and bind terms, and mentor junior underwriters.

Role can be based in multiple western states; strong technical knowledge and consultative sales approach are essential to drive profitable growth and agency partnerships across PHLY’s management liability

Qualifications

• Advanced technical knowledge of Financial Lines and Management Liability insurance products.
• Strong analytical, financial analysis, and risk assessment skills.
• Sales, marketing, negotiation, business development, and relationship management capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to engage effectively with internal and external business partners at all organizational levels.

Responsabilités

• Manage and grow a profitable book of business across Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, Cyber, and other Management Liability lines.
• Analyze financial statements, operational exposures, loss experience, and risk characteristics to make underwriting decisions.
• Prepare submissions, present proposals to producers and accounts, and negotiate terms for complex renewals.
• Develop territory and agency strategies to drive profitable growth and monitor profitability results.
