Actalent, a workforce technology company based in Hayden, Idaho, is seeking an Accountant/Sr. Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting and help build the foundation for a future accounting function.

The role is part-time contract-to-hire with emphasis on accuracy, controls, and process improvement. Responsibilities include managing AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, journal entries, and assisting with month- and year-end close, payroll-related accounting, and management reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping, accounting, or general ledger experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and general accounting activities.
• Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare customer invoices and maintain accurate billing records.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries and accruals, as appropriate.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with payroll-related accounting and reconciliations as needed.
• Prepare recurring financial reports for company leadership.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reporting.
