Job summary

Bookkeeper360, a fintech firm focused on cloud-based accounting and advisory services, seeks a Senior Accountant to manage a client book of accounts remotely. You will lead a small team, perform monthly reviews, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting while addressing tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of leadership experience in bookkeeping, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and familiarity with cloud-based systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience overseeing the work of bookkeepers or staff accountants.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience across e-commerce, product companies, technology, professional services, and real estate industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships weekly and monthly.
• Primary point of contact for Bookkeeper360 clients.
• Provide monthly financial reviews to business owners.
• Oversee general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Lead 1–3 bookkeepers; supervise AP/AR, expense categorization, reconciliations.
• Delegate work to the team and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile tax returns to books and records.
• Deliver services on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with manager on financial close and issues.
• Recommend cloud integrations to increase efficiency.
