Job summary

Bookminders is seeking a part-time accounting professional to process client information with precision and in accordance with established standards.

You will work primarily from home, with occasional onsite visits within a 45-mile radius of a local Bookminders office, and participate in ongoing training and development programs. Strong communication and ledger software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field required.
• Five years of accounting or finance experience required.
• Excellent communication and computer skills required.
• Ability to work independently with precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process client accounting information accurately using fundamental accounting principles.
• Understand and apply Bookminders’ standards and procedures and implement improvements.
• Know client needs and translate them into the accounting system setup.
• Attend weekly client meetings to discuss financials and updates.
• Track and report client billing information timely and accurately.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with assigned clients.
