Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, accounting or business-related degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years accounting or finance experience.
• Must reside within 45 miles of local Bookminders’ office.
• Experience with general ledger accounting software is required.
• Excellent communication and computer skills are required.
• Ability to work independently with precision and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Apply fundamental accounting principles and analytical skills to process client accounting information accurately.
• Time and expense billing, job costing, expense allocations, fund accounting, and Board reporting.
• Understand and apply Bookminders' standards, implement improvements, and ensure client accounts meet standards.
• Attend brief weekly client meetings to discuss financials and track client billing information.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with assigned clients.
