Job summary

Blain's Farm & Fleet is hiring a Service Advisor to perform automotive services, assist customers, and support sales in a busy retail environment. You will be trained to achieve Level I status and handle service orders, invoicing, and basic repairs.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and basic automotive knowledge. Prior auto repair or retail experience is preferred; weekend shifts may apply and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with customers.
• Proficient in reading and speaking English.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior auto repair experience preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases in a customer service and sales focused environment.
• Use computers to check inventory levels and arrival dates; set up work orders and schedule service.
• Explain work orders and invoices to customers.
• Perform Retail Cashier duties by processing customer payments.
• Install batteries, balance wheels, repair and install tires when required.
• Perform oil changes using LOF procedures when required.
• Demonstrate awareness of Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures.
• Interpret vehicle inspection results and make service recommendations to customers.
