Job summary

Roses Express in Lexington, SC is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to deliver excellent customer service and support the Store Manager with daily operations. You will help hire and train team members, oversee opening and closing, safeguard assets, and ensure a clean, productive sales floor in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will manage merchandise flow, assist with directives, and work flexible hours including weekends. Roses Express is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Flexible full-time or part-time with days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members.
• Support the Store Manager with daily store operations.
• Open and close procedures in the Store Manager's absence.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Maintain store areas and stockroom to company standards.
• Direct hourly Team Members when the Store Manager is away.
• Process corporate directives and manage merchandise flow.
• Meet productivity standards and stock merchandise as needed.
• Ensure the sales floor is productive and well-organized.
