Job summary

Community Choice Financial® Family of Brands in Tyler, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support customers with their financial needs and help run daily store operations. You’ll develop leadership skills by driving account management, customer outreach, and risk management, while contributing to a performance-driven, people-first team.

You will lead by example, coach Customer Service Representatives, and ensure compliance, security, and accurate cash handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with POS and Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance; personal vehicle used for work.
• Background check required and results considered by law.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions and process loan/pawn applications and check cashing.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services and build relationships.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes with a focus on customer service.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy.
• Provide coaching to Customer Service Representatives to ensure quality and safety.
• Perform on-site duties such as store visits and external marketing as needed.
• Meet performance standards by leveraging partnerships and hosting events.
• Maintain security protocols, vault and cash drawer management.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and audit requirements.
