Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is organized and displayed effectively.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, processing directives, maintaining records, and supervising employees to create a safe and friendly shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Team-oriented, customer-focused and detail-driven.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store functions and activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise between delivery, stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store records and cash handling.
• Maintain store displays and promotional fixtures.
