Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and develop team performance. You will support the Store Manager in daily activities and lead associates to achieve sales and service goals.

In this role you will organize merchandise flow, manage opening/closing procedures, and ensure a safe, clean shopping environment while upholding company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Maintain store areas and ensure safety and cleanliness
• Support in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling
• Assist in training Store Associates
