Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. This role involves assisting with daily functions, merchandising, opening/closing procedures, and ensuring a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.

Candidates should have high school education (or equivalent) and store-management experience in retail or grocery settings. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to success in a dynamic store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and interpret basic directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Assist in organizing, stocking, and merchandising on the sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and process corporate directives.
• Supervise and develop store associates while maintaining a safe environment.
