Job summary

The Madison, Columbus, OH, is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in daily operations, leasing and resident relations at the community. Weekend hours: rotating Saturdays 10AM - 5PM and Sundays 1PM - 4PM.

Responsibilities include showing apartments, processing applications, coordinating move-ins/move-outs, preparing resident files, lease renewals, maintenance requests and reporting. Collaboration across departments is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ work experience in retail sales or customer related service.
• Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of apartment rental and collection practices.
• Excellent customer service, sales and marketing skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Current driver’s license; ARM or CAM preferred.

Responsibilities

• In absence of the Property Manager, manage the office and finances.
• Show apartments and process applications for prospective residents.
• Handle move-ins and move-outs; prepare resident files.
• Initiate lease renewals and coordinate packets for approval.
• Process maintenance service requests and maintain vendor relations.
• Prepare weekly traffic and renewal reports; update advertising/files.
• Collaborate with other departments and take on special assignments.
