Panera LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager Lead to oversee a beloved neighborhood bakery-cafe and drive success with a strong team. You’ll partner with the General Manager on hiring, training, and cost control, while delivering exceptional guest experiences day after day.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager by making key decisions and problem solving.
• Plan and manage staffing needs, shift scheduling, people development, and succession planning.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members while motivating and celebrating the team.
• Assist with managing team performance to meet bakery-cafe goals and service standards.
• Partner with the General Manager to develop managers on processes and Panera’s guiding values.
• Ensure guests are delighted by food quality, service, and team engagement.
• Build relationships to drive long-term, loyal guests and a strong team culture.
• Follow procedures to execute company strategies and maintain standards.
• Ensure policy compliance and a safe workplace aligned with health and safety norms.
• Assist in managing costs and inventory at the bakery-cafe.
