Job summary

Sonic Drive-In, proudly franchised by KBP Brands, is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Maryville, Tennessee. You will lead daily operations, train and schedule staff, oversee inventory and safety, and manage cash and expenses while partnering with the Managing Partner to grow the business.

The role requires at least one year of AGM experience in food service or retail, 18+ years old, and availability to close two nights per week.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail, with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, safely maneuver through compact spaces, and operate restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by leading the team in training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect Sonic’s brand reputation.
