Job summary

FOX 5 and KUSI in San Diego, part of Nexstar Media Group, Inc., seeks an Account Executive to drive new business and growth across broadcast and digital solutions. You will prospect, build a robust pipeline, and tailor campaigns to client goals with a strong emphasis on revenue generation.

You’ll manage client relationships, upsell, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver campaigns, analyze performance, and report results. Onsite role with competitive comp and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
• Strong understanding of the media landscape and digital marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Experience with Nielsen or other media measurement tools a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Generate new and incremental revenue with a focus on new business and digital revenue growth.
• Manage client accounts, upsell and cross-sell broadcast, digital, streaming, and integrated solutions.
• Conduct needs assessments and present customized advertising proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close opportunities to achieve revenue goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaign execution and reporting.
• Monitor performance and provide regular client updates and optimization opportunities.
• Attend client meetings and industry events to expand the advertiser base.
