Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Marketing Manager for AI Developer Tools to own the developer lifecycle marketing strategy from discovery through activation and paid conversion. You will craft content, run automated programs, and optimize cross-channel campaigns that move developers along the funnel.

You will collaborate with product, developer relations, demand generation, events, and field teams to deliver measurable impact and scalable programs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
• Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels.

Responsibilities

• Design automated lifecycle marketing programs (email, in-product messaging, nurture sequences) that move developers through the adoption journey.
• Define and instrument activation milestones in partnership with product and data science teams.
• Analyze developer lifecycle cohort behavior, identify friction points, and run experiments to improve conversion rates at each stage of the funnel.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns across channels that drive awareness and adoption among developers building with AI.
• Create compelling developer-facing content (blog posts, tutorials, landing pages, videos, webinars, social content).
• Own channel performance metrics and continuously optimize campaigns based on data and developer engagement signals.
• Support marketing presence at developer events, conferences, and community moments.
• Collaborate with demand generation, field marketing, and developer relations teams to build integrated programs.
• Build and grow a bench of referenceable developers and advocates for use across sales and events.
• Partner with product and marketing growth teams to optimize the product-to-sales handoff.
