Openwork, based in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Growth Operations Director to partner with market leaders to drive performance and growth across our markets. This hands-on role blends strategy with execution to identify gaps and implement improvement plans.

The position requires 25-50% travel to support markets in person and to lead cross-functional initiatives, coaching leaders, and enhancing overall operations in a fast-paced, people-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience leading teams and improving business performance.
• Experience managing a P&L and accountability for financial and operational results.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics and turn insights into action.
• Hands-on leadership style with coaching and accountability.
• Proven track record developing leaders and improving team performance.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with market and regional leaders to evaluate performance and develop action plans.
• Step into markets as a hands-on leader to stabilize performance and strengthen execution.
• Monitor metrics across sales, recruiting, service delivery, productivity and profitability.
• Lead, coach, and develop market teams to boost accountability and productivity.
• Support onboarding, development, and transition of market leaders.
• Identify leadership and culture challenges impacting performance.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development on targeted development and coaching.
• Strengthen recruiting and sales strategies, activity, and operating rhythms.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations and cost management.
• Lead implementation of new systems, processes, tools, and initiatives across markets.
• Support new market openings, acquisitions, and M&A integration.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to support growth and priorities.
• Serve as a hands-on resource for client, talent, and operational challenges.
