Job summary

WindBorne Systems is seeking a Growth Lead in Redwood City, CA to own go-to-market for our agentic weather product. You’ll shape ICP positioning, build a PLG motion, and scale from early adopters to thousands of customers.

You’ll work across product and engineering as one of the first GTM hires, designing pricing experiments and optimizing acquisition and retention with analytics. In-person role, 3 days/week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a 0-to-1 software startup, ideally owning a self‑serve or bottoms‑up motion (internship counts).
• Built engagement in a community and converted traction into product engagement.
• Hands-on with product analytics and SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Drive top-of-funnel growth: cold outreach, design-partner recruiting, and viral experiments.
• Own customer acquisition and retention – engage analytics and talk to customers about satisfaction.
• Design viral features and product-led-growth loops.
• Run monetization experiments to test pricing models and willingness‑to‑pay.
• Partner closely with product and eng as an early GTM hire.
