WindBorne Systems is seeking a Growth Lead in Redwood City, CA to own go-to-market for our agentic weather product. You’ll shape ICP positioning, build a PLG motion, and scale from early adopters to thousands of customers.
You’ll work across product and engineering as one of the first GTM hires, designing pricing experiments and optimizing acquisition and retention with analytics. In-person role, 3 days/week.
WindBorne is supercharging weather forecasts with a unique proprietary data source: a global constellation of next-generation smart weather balloons targeting the most critical atmospheric data. We design, manufacture, and operate our own balloons, using the data they collect to generate hyper-accurate forecasts and otherwise unattainable weather intelligence. Together, we call this our Planetary Nervous System.
WindBorne's Product Team is tasked with delivering the value of our Planetary Nervous System to humanity. We combine technology capabilities from all layers of the company to build critical tools that help humanity mitigate the most destructive effects of climate change.
We're hiring a Growth Lead to own go-to-market execution for our flagship agentic weather product, as we push toward product‑market fit and rapid scaling. You'll be the first dedicated business hire on this product, responsible for turning early beachhead traction into a flywheel of growth – from sharpening ICP positioning to building the PLG motion & customer acquisition mechanisms that scale us from early adopters to thousands of satisfied customers.
In this role, you will also have the unique opportunity to learn how the world really works. Weather deeply impacts a multitude of critical industries, and an even wider range of professions. You will be on the front lines of customer discovery, peeling back the layers of modern society & global infrastructure to identify hidden hair‑on‑fire problems and scope opportunities for WindBorne.
