Job summary

Valley Bank is hiring a Banking Service Professional to support sales and service within the banking office. You will educate clients on banking solutions, open accounts, and help meet financial needs through cross-selling and excellent service.

You will perform teller and platform transactions, promote online and mobile banking, and ensure compliance with operational procedures while supporting the Market Manager in delivering customer-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing customer relationships and acquire new ones through proactive cross selling.
• Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with the bank's mission.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products and cross-sell to meet financial needs.
• Meet with customers for needs assessments and open new accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs).
• Discuss and sell loan products to existing and prospective customers.
• Promote online and mobile banking capabilities.
• Ensure service quality and compliance with procedures.
• Process transactions efficiently and balance cash drawer; operate teller equipment.
• Support vault operations and manage currency/coin orders within limits.
• Participate in community events and CRA initiatives.
• Report significant issues and maintain regulatory compliance.
